This book, written immediately after the sinking of the Titanic, gives an interesting religious perspective on its sinking. There are many details about the ship and the passengers, but the main thrust is Mrs. Alma White’s view of the reasons behind the tragedy. From the Preface: “In this volume we have tried to impress upon our readers that there is a more serious and comprehensive side to this the greatest of all marine disasters than the nations have yet conceived. IT IS GOD’S HANDWRITING ON THE WALL, foretelling the doom of those who are given to greed and pleasure in a world cursed by sin. The inspired Book foretells these things and men have only to read and understand, but alas how few do so.”
