Hardcover, good, green boards, gold title and decoration, light bumping and wear on corners and spine, light fraying at head and tail of spine, sturdy binding, back hinge loose, back endpaper is missing, on paste-down front endboard the name Donald Eley Fink, Ohio is written, a  cut-out and pasted “4” with attempted removal is in the middle of the front endboard, light foxing, illustration “Hall in the Grove” is detached from binding but where it belongs at page 112.

A first hand account of a summer spent at Chautauqua in late the 1880s. From the introduction by Rev.
